Why We're Working Together
Buddy Pet Insurance is a brand passionate about making a positive difference for Australian animals, wildlife and the communities who care for them. Through its Giving Program, Buddy has committed funding to support wildlife, veterinary welfare, and animal research initiatives across Australia.
Buddy Pet Insurance is supporting WWF-Australia in protecting wildlife at risk, including koalas. Without action, koalas on Australia’s East Coast could be extinct by 2050, but together, we’re working to reverse this and secure a future for our iconic species.
Buddy is working with WWF, supporting critical conservation efforts to help regenerate nature across Australia, with a special focus on protecting and restoring habitats for koalas and other native wildlife.
This includes:
- Preventing further decline of koala populations and supporting WWF-Australia’s goal to double the number of koalas on the East Coast by 2050.
- Raising awareness of the threats wildlife face, particularly habitat loss.
- Educating audiences about the importance of koala conservation and broader efforts to regenerate nature.
