The Australian Government has been promising a national strategy to save koalas from extinction for five years. Meanwhile, because of excessive tree-clearing, koala numbers in NSW have plummeted in to below 20,000. Now, NSW koalas are on track to be extinct as early as 2050. It is because of this that WWF-Australia asked independent experts to write the plan for the government. Now, here is the first independent-of-government national strategy to save koalas in Australia ever! The government needs to read it and act upon it. Have your say to save our precious koalas.
