Join the global fight to reduce plastic pollution in our oceans!
Plastic is everywhere. From our beaches in Australia to remote Antarctica, it’s silently choking our planet and wildlife. It has contaminated the soil, rivers and oceans. It’s even entered our food chain.
8 million tonnes of plastic is dumped into our oceans every year globally, with 53% originating from Southeast Asia. Once in the ocean, plastic pollution has no boundaries. What is dumped in one region of the world can travel to our shores.
This is a global man-made disaster that requires nations around the world to take collective action on both a national and international scale.
With your help, we’re calling on governments around the world to introduce a global and legally binding agreement to stop plastics polluting our oceans.
We need as many Australian signatures as possible, to show that we care about protecting our magnificent oceans and spectacular marine wildlife.
This is our opportunity to make a difference on a global stage and end the plastic crisis that’s plaguing our planet.
Together, we can turn the tide on plastic pollution.
