As a long-term climate tragic and energy geek, I am thrilled to be working at WWF-Australia as the Energy Transition Manager.
I grew up in Australia and the UK and at the age of 17, decided to dedicate my life to addressing climate change. Since then, I’ve been a clean energy researcher, a social entrepreneur, an advocate, strategist and commentator.
In 2010, I travelled across Europe visiting communities repowering themselves with clean energy. This inspired me to work with communities across Australia to develop community-owned renewable energy projects, driving a faster and fairer transition to renewable energy.
More recently, I’ve enjoyed writing about the clean energy revolution, you can find some of my pieces in the Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald and the Age.
I have a passion for ensuring that the solutions to climate change are creating a better world, which is why I’m so excited to be leading WWF’s campaign to make Australia a renewable powerhouse.
Outside work my geeky tendencies continue with my love of playing board games with friends. I also love to cook and visit as many beautiful waterfalls as I can find.
