Wildlife Philatelic
Wildlife Philatelic is the official partner for the WWF Stamp Collection, the most successful collectable series in the world. Each and every month since 1983, a different country has released a set of legal tender WWF postage stamps that feature endangered wildlife.
These WWF stamps, together with limited edition First Day Cover envelopes and wildlife fact sheets, are delivered to subscribers each month. These are produced in 10 languages and distributed into 26 countries. Some examples of recent editions include the Birds of the Cook Islands in June 2005 and Australian Whales in July 2006.
The Official WWF Stamp Collection is a unique philatelic product that is only available via mail order invitation; it is not sold in any retail outlets. Australian subscribers alone have contributed more than $450,000 to help fund vital conservation work. A message in the post all over the world, WWF Stamps raise public awareness of endangered wildlife.
