Proposed NSW coal power station at odds with push for clean energy

SYDNEY: Plans to build a new coal-fired power station in the Hunter Valley could significantly impact on water supplies in the region, boost the state's greenhouse emissions and potentially contaminate groundwater with high concentrations of salt.
