Gardeners unknowingly adding to Australia's $4 billion/year weed problem

WWF-Australia is urging governments and the garden industry to implement a national mandatory labelling scheme for invasive garden plants.

The scheme's aim is to enable gardeners to identify invasive plants before they buy them and how to minimise the chance of weeds jumping the back fence.

Plan to protect the Great Barrier Reef recognised as world's best

WWF will today present the Australian Government with a Gift to the Earth award, WWF's highest accolade, for the design and implementation of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park zoning plan.

Children often more contaminated than their mothers, new WWF report shows

Results from WWF's first European-wide family bloodtesting survey released today found a total of 73 man-made hazardous chemicals in the blood of 13 families (grandmothers, mothers and children) from 12 European countries.
