Friends of Leadbeater's Possum

The Friends of Leadbeater's Possum has recently been re-established. It is based in Healesville and the Threatened Species Network will be working closely with the group. Liaison between the communities around Leadbeater's Possum habitat, key scientists and habitat managers is the main focus. Members will be invited to work with scientists to collect important population and habitat quality data as well as contribute to habitat weeding and planting days in Leadbeater's areas. Limited spaces are available for members to join Dr David Lindenmayer for stag-watching evenings in Melbourne's water catchments in December, January and March.
