Threatened Species Art and Photography Competition

WWF will be holding the Northern Territory Threatened Species Art and Photography Competition again this year and we are inviting entries for the competition.

National Threatened Species Day (September 7th) has been established to help raise public awareness about Australia's threatened plants and animals. This year the theme will again be threatened species, their habitats and their threats in the NT. Individuals as well as schools and community groups are invited to submit works.

It is open to all ages, for all mediums with significant prizes on offer.

Entries close 24th August 2009.

Works will be on display at the Darwin Entertainment Centre Gallery from 7th - 10th September with an official opening and winners announced by Ms Alison Anderson MLA. A selection of winning entries will then be on display at the Alice Springs Desert Park.
