The partnership between WWF and Factorie aims to create a customer experience that brings to life an in-store 'eco funhouse'. The partnership connects customers with WWF's conservation work and makes sustainability real for a youth audience. This is achieved through a WWF-licensed product range which adheres to sustainability principles covering sourcing, environmental standards and ethical labour standards.
In their most recent project together, Factorie and WWF aim to increase awareness of the threats faced by turtles in the Great Barrier Reef as well as help to raise funds for WWF’s conservation work to save these turtles. Thanks to their customers’ support, Factorie was able to purchase a research boat to assist Traditional Owner rangers in tagging and tracking turtles in the Great Barrier Reef. WWF aims to significantly reduce threats to marine turtles through the Turtle Rescue Mission.
