Funding for threatened species conservation
The successful recipients of the most recent round of the Threatened Species Network Community Grant Program have been announced. More than 385 on-ground conservation projects have now been funded over ten rounds of the TSN Community Grants Program, enabling community groups right across Australia to help save threatened species and ecological communities.

Successful grant applicants for 2008
Managed by the Threatened Species Network (TSN), the grants program was established to support and inspire communities to conduct on-ground work for the ongoing health of our natural environment, specifically targeting the needs of nationally threatened species and ecological communities.
Funding is provided for activities such as:
- Habitat restoration
- Weeding and feral animal control
- Monitoring and surveying species populations
- Fencing
- Fire management
